THERAPEUTIC GROUP (Odessa) Alex Lemeschuk Yuliya Stadnik The modern dominant culture teaches you to share your passion for right and wrong. Cultivates first and inhibits the second. Something similar was broadcast to us by our parents. And we, in turn, pass it to your children. Such education leads to the fact that most people today may not recognize many of their own emotions, perceive them as chaos or discomfort to be rid of. All of our emotions has a source and meaning. Some of them are uncomfortable and can seem socially unacceptable. Unconsciously we get used to deal with them, hoping to be accepted by important people. Strict censorship of inner peace ultimately leads to tragic consequences. Instead, you can learn to listen and hear what our emotions want us to hear. It brings liveliness, spontaneity, creativity, sense of involvement in life. And finally, loving yourself. Is usually well recognized the excitement, enthusiasm, joy, ecstasy, euphoria. Such is the manic spectrum. Shame, longing, sadness, pain, anger, frustration, guilt, hatred, envy, disgust, tenderness, hope, gratitude and many other emotions are a range unrecognizable. Usually, when some emotions arise from this spectrum, one simply calls this feeling bad and trying to get rid of it, resorting to different methods. Sometimes getting rid of such emotions people spend a significant portion of their vitality. Suppression, total control, denial, anesthesia, dissociation, displacement, acting out – just a few rude ways to cope with emotions. However, all such methods lead only to escape from himself, to a distorted perception of themselves and the world, inability to understand, inability to have good relationships with loved ones, and ultimately the feeling of unhappiness. Every emotion we experience is the source and meaning. The suppression of emotions leads to a sad end. Instead, you can learn to listen and hear what our emotions want us to hear. This, in turn, returns the vitality, spontaneity, creativity, a sense of total involvement in life. In our group, apart from the usual tasks that the group can solve, separate focus work – assistance in getting acquainted with the emotional world. Recognition, understanding and informed management.
