The medieval text Stabat Mater, which tells about the suffering of a Mother who sees her Son suffering on the cross, is today known as a special musical genre. The text of Stabat Mater, written many centuries ago, has not lost its relevance to this day, because at all times, parents’ worries about the fate of their children touch the soul. Many famous musicians from different countries and eras turned to him. The work of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi is rightfully considered one of its peaks. On Saturday, March 30, the monumental work of the great genius will be performed among the light installations of Biblical painting. But Pergolesi's masterpiece is not all that can be heard this evening. G. Pergolesi, the famous violinist and organist, wrote many instrumental works, including a violin concerto, which we will not only hear, but also see.
