Ballet Sleeping Beauty
The ballet “Sleeping Beauty” P. Tchaikovsky “Sleeping Beauty” based on the tale of Charles Perrault is the most ambitious ballet performance of our repertoire. The Sleeping Beauty by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Marius Petipa is a ballet recognized as an absolute masterpiece of choreographic heritage. In it, the collaboration of the librettist, composer and choreographer turned out to be as harmonious as possible. A complex polyphonic structure of the ballet performance was created, which combined the monumentality of the unfolded large choreographic compositions and the expressive grace of dance miniatures. Due to the variety of dance forms, ballet art of the late 19th century gained true artistic and aesthetic significance. Ballet required a serious attitude to itself as a high art. He was able to not only entertain the audience with unpretentious stories and simple dances, but also to bring to the stage deep feelings and thoughts about truth, good, life and death, light and darkness.
