If Your child does not know - then we invite him/her to develop the programme, "Dinosaurs and Dragons" - program includes a tour of the paleontological Museum and interactive quest game "In the footsteps of Dragons." The duration of the program with a guided tour and game about 3 hours. Meeting time - 8.50 The timing of the event: 8.50-8.55 roll 9.00 - 10.50 (11.00) logical-detective quest "In the footsteps of Dragons" on the streets of the heart of our city - the kids solve math problems, puzzles, train memory and observation, learn to be friendly, learn to work in a team and to navigate the unfamiliar place. 11.00 - 12.00 tour of the paleontological Museum of Odessa national University im. Mechnikov Each participant at the end of the event wins a prize. About the Museum. Odessa paleontological Museum is one of the oldest in Ukraine and belongs to the ten best paleontological museums in the world. The exposition of the paleontological Museum is located in three halls with a total area of 500 sq. m. The Museum's collections include more than 60 thousand exhibits. The most important in the collection of the Museum are seven complete skeletons of vertebrate animals that lived in our region. This mastodon skeletons, three-toed horses, hornless rhinoceros, Pliocene camel, elephant, cave bear, mammoth. Of great value are the skeletons of mosasaurs, ichthyosaur, a full skeleton of a sea Lily, and a unique skeleton of dinornis. At the Museum there is an underground paleontological reserve is the dumping of extinct vertebrates, which occupy the whole hall Museum of paleontology. They are representatives of mammals from karstic caves in the Pontian limestone of Odessa city. The exhibition "the Fauna of Odessa catacombs" is the remains of camels, foxes, hyenas, mastodons, ground squirrels, badgers, marabou, ostrich and other representatives of Pliocene age.
