Curatorial tour / "Nonconformists: the Museum format"

We invite you to a curator's tour of our new exhibition "Nonconformists: the Museum format" from Tatiana Tokarchuk! July 5, Odessa art in conjunction with the gallery of modern art Nt-Art Gallery presents the project "non-Conformists: the Museum format." Odessa nonconformists — a circle of artists who in isolation from the world artistic process started with the search for new forms and creative means of identifying and created his own version of modernism. Several years ago, Odessa gallerist, collector, patron Anatoly Dymchuk appealed to the artists to create works of "Museum format" — 2x1,5, 2x2 meters. It was an experiment with scale: the artists went beyond the usual chamber size that is ideal for housing exhibitions and have had their abstract composition on a larger canvas. Every Friday with Tatiana Tokarchuk during a tour of the exhibition will talk about: ✔ it's amazing how in the confrontation of tradition and avant-garde formed the Odessa school of painting; ✔ app that brings together young artists of Odessa beginning in the second half of the twentieth century; ✔ this "avant-garde," "modernism", "non-conformism", "abstract art" — what is behind these concepts; ✔ this is the history of Odessa non-conformism, its features, importance for the development of modern art of Ukraine; ✔ app works of nonconformist art exhibition in Odessa art Museum.  Where: Odessa art Museum (vul.
