Training for lawyers on development skills soft skills

The purpose of the training: development of communication skills for work with vulnerable groups of clients of the system of free legal aid, including victims of domestic and gender based violence, children, combatants, internally displaced persons and the elderly The focus of the training is paid exactly to the "soft skills" (soft skills), in particular – development of skills of building the first contact and further effective communication and feedback with clients, the ethics of communication with clients, interviewing and counseling clients, and analysis of cases. In particular, the participants will work on tools of effective communication, barriers/filters of perception (which can cause stereotyping and discrimination), active listening and empathy, build trust, and ethical and value aspects and other features of the work with vulnerable client groups. In addition, during the training attention will be paid to working with stress and emotions, to prevent professional burnout and maintain yourself in a resourceful state. Work on "soft skills" (soft skills) is very important because in professional life is often a focus only on "hard skills" (hard skills) such as, for example, knowledge of the relevant legislation and procedures, while soft skills have a significant impact on the results of working with clients and providing them with legal assistance. The format of the training involves the active participation of all participants during the two days of training, practical exercises and assignments, work in small groups, analysis and discussion of case studies and videos, exchange experience between participants and trainers.
