"Art is not useful" — says Wilde. And the beauty? Or maybe beauty is useful, but the real beauty is absolute useless? And maybe, strange as it may seem sound, the real usefulness of beauty in its futility? After all, our ability to survive free and independent from any benefit beauty opens our existence to the dimension of freedom, and hence makes us moral beings responsible for their own actions. This is what we invite you to debate with Vakhtana Kebuladze during his lecture "the Use of beauty?" 24 August at 17:00.
