No wonder musical classics are considered elitist art: everything that for many centuries has remained relevant and refined is worthy of the most noble receivers, the intellectual elite of society.               In the authentic space of the Cathedral of St. Paul / Kirche / a wind organ plays - as before, in the old days. Masterpieces of organ classics in virtuoso performance will be played - Orest Koval (organ, Sumy) plays. The concert is led by a lecturer - musicologist Elvira Palamarchuk.              ▪️Orest Koval (organ, Sumy) - organist, pianist, teacher, art manager, member of the Presidium of the Association of Organists and Organ Masters of the National All-Ukrainian Musical Union, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, soloist of the Sumy Regional Philharmonic.              ▪️In 1993-2010, Koval organized and held in Ukraine 40 classical music festivals: 17 international organ and chamber music festivals ORGANUM (Sumy), 3 all-Ukrainian and international jazz festivals Jazz-fest (Sumy), 15 international music festivals I. S Bach Bach-fest (Sumy), International Chamber Music Festival (Shostka, 1994). The All-Ukrainian festival “30 years of organ art” (108 concerts in 10 cities of Ukraine, 2000-2001), 3 international organ music festivals LIVALIA-FEST (Yalta, 2005, 2006, 2007).▪️Orest Koval cooperates with international organizations, embassies of foreign states in Ukraine, received grants from the Renaissance International Fund six times. In 2002, with the support of the Austrian Embassy in Ukraine, he published in Ukrainian a book by the famous Austrian musician N. Harnonkurt “Music as the language of sounds”.
