Food rules, religious norms, historical eras and much more have played an important role in how and what we eat or don’t eat today.              At the lecture we learn:       - What do fashion diets and religious posts have in common;       - how to eat in antiquity and in the Middle Ages;       - as writers describe Ukrainian cuisine and what do witches have to do with it;       - why do we eat what kills us;       - how war and hunger change the approach to food;       - why do zombies eat brains;       - why once cannibals were justified and how morality and food are related;       - What are the worst and strangest dishes you can try while traveling around the world;       - how food creates mythology and what myths about food live in our minds.       - And finally, you will find out why mom cooks better (but this is not accurate) and whether everything was high-quality and natural before.              Lecturer Mikhailo Kozakov is a culturologist who can talk simply about complex things. Explores popular culture, mythology, the theory of the hero’s path.
