Past & Future

By the opening of the new circus season at the Odessa State Circus, the State Circus Company of Ukraine will present the Past & Future program dedicated to the centenary of the creation of the Ukrainian State Circus from September 21 to October 20.              The innovative structure and unusual way of revealing the idea of ​​the circus performance “Past & Future” opens up great opportunities for searching for new means of circus expressiveness. In an attempt by artistic means to transfer the bridge from the present to the past - to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the authors of the play ask questions about the role of the universal and mass art of the circus in history. How does art relate to reality, to today's day, what is its mission? Is circus art able to change the world?              The performances "Past & Future" will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from September 21 to October 20 in the arena of the Odessa State Circus.              Reference: The State Circus Company of Ukraine is one of the largest circus companies not only in Europe but also in the world. Currently, her artists successfully perform not only in stationary Ukrainian circuses, but also Triumphal represent Ukraine abroad.
