Tales of the wings. Exhibition of Sergey Polyanichko

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION       The concept of the exhibition is metaphorical, and its name very accurately conveys the meaning laid down by the author in each of the works.       Tales of wings is a confession about secret and overt flights in dreams and in reality, revealing an inner mystical experience, sometimes not entirely conscious, turning into images, symbols and color spots.       The artist tells of wings as a symbol of spirit, overcoming, liberation from the shackles of corporeality and transience of being and touching the divine. After all, a flight is a way out into the unknown, beyond the limits of human potential, an opportunity to look at oneself and the world from a height, from a different angle, the discovery of other worlds and an attempt to look beyond the line of reality.              ABOUT THE ARTIST       Artist Sergey Polyanichko was born in 1968 in Izmail. In 1998 he graduated from Izmail State University, art and graphic department.              Participated in group exhibitions in Izmail and in Odessa.       Recent collaborative projects:       - 2015, a joint project of Odessa artists "Other" in the Museum of Modern Art       - 2016, the project "Tales of prosaic times" in the art lounge of the Odessa Linguistic Center       - 2017, an exhibition of the Odessa section of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine at the Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art.              Works are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Jordan, USA.       The artist writes in the direction of neosymbolism and conceptual painting, in addition, the genre of marine painter is also close to him.              Dates of the exhibition: 16.11 - 01.12.Opening of the exhibition on November 16 at 16.00.       Admission is free on the opening day.       From 17.11 to 12.12 entrance to the exhibition 40/25/30 UAH.       The cash desk is open until 16:30.              #WEart_museum # Exhibition # Tales of Wings
