Why is it worth going to a concert on International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz?       WHY IS IT WANT TO GO TO A CONCERT FOR THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THE HOLOCAUST AND FOR THE 75th ANNIVERSARY OF THE RELEASE OF AUSHWITZ? 1. Honor the victims of the Holocaust. 2. Hear the first performance in Odessa of Symphony No. 21 “Kadish” by Weinberg. 3. Enjoy the vibrant game of Israeli pianist Amir Katz. There are events in world history that must not be forgotten, which should be remembered and remembered. Therefore, the orchestra, together with People's Artist of Ukraine Hobart Earle, prepared a concert for the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, as well as for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.       These terrible events forced the whole world to look again at the problems of the value of human life, worldview and peace. The problem of collective memory, which leads to a constant repetition of the mistakes of mankind, is trying, among other things, through culture to carry out its chronicle, a chronicle of feelings and emotions, to convey and make it clear to the new generation not only facts, but also to understand the terrible losses and sacrifices of mankind. Music is not only a decoration in our life, but also a monument of events and a compass for the future.       Mozart's Masonic Mourning Music, Concerto No. 2 for piano and Chopin’s orchestra and the enormous Symphony No. 21 “Kadish” by Weinberg, dedicated to the memory of those who died in the Warsaw ghetto, will be performed in the concert.Symphony No. 21 "Kadish" by Weinberg is the composer's last completed symphony, his testament, it is dedicated to the memory of the dead and completes a number of his works related to the Holocaust.       The soloists are Amir KATS and Ksenia BAKHRITDINOVA.       AMIR KAC is an Israeli pianist who lives and works in Germany. He began to study music at the age of 11, at the age of 15 he won the first national executive competition. Then he studied in Munich in Eliso Virsaladze and Michael Schaefer, also attended master classes by Leon Fleischer, Karl Ulrich Schnabel, Murray Peraia. In 1993, he won the Cleveland International Piano Competition, and also won competitions in Barcelona and Dortmund.
