Many of the photographer’s works are focused on material forms in which he reveals previously hidden content. The color street of Zalman Shklyar expresses the author’s vision of the metaphysics of color, the game between different color shades, games of shadows. In this case, the author tries to build a storyline between the color, as the external beauty of the object, and the man himself, who is invariably captured in each frame and representing the inner, hidden world. The works of Zalman Shklyar have been repeatedly praised by world photographers and art critics, including Max Kozloff, Gueorgui Pinkhassov, Bill Rauhauser, Rui Palha, John Free, Thomas Hoepker and others.
