LIVING ROOM "DILIGANS"       SOUTH RUSSIAN UNION OF WRITERS       ODESSA LITERARY-MEMORIAL MUSEUM OF A.S. PUSHKIN       invite to the February meeting-stop "I am the bell of the windy earth ...",       dedicated to the Russian poet Roald Mandelstam.              In the 50s of the twentieth century, legends circulated around Leningrad about a lonely poet - an inhabitant of a night city, a writer of untimely and untimely poems, who read them on white nights to friends, artists and poets who were as outcast as he was.       By some strange whim of fate, the lonely poet was the namesake of one of the great Russian poets of the twentieth century, who died in the Stalinist camps.       His fate is tragic and sad - illness, father’s arrest, war, blockade, evacuation, suffocation of the terrible Stalinist regime ...       Morphine - to relieve excruciating pains.       Poverty, isolation, doom and - amazing, impermissible and unthinkable for that time - freedom.              It can't be meaningless       In the earth, flowers were born and bloomed.       “I'm standing here.”       I can not do otherwise.       I'm the bell of a windy land.       I was a flower at the tomb of Galileo,       And in the vague loneliness of the king.       I remember everything.       I know everything.       I can do everything.       To bend his own, mortal fear fighting.       My faint ringing greets and cries.       Steppe feather grasses keep me.       “I'm standing here!”       I can not do otherwise!       I am the bell of the windy earth. He lived only 29 years. He died without seeing a single line in his publication. Roald Mandelstam's first posthumous book, The Favorites, was published in Jerusalem in 1982.       He resembled another sufferer,       who presented his world to readers - Alexander Green.       Zurbagan Roald Mandelstam became his native Leningrad.       With the participation of Ilya Zmeev - artistic word (melodclamation in the recording)              Screenwriter and host Lyudmila Sharga       We are waiting for you, dear friends, on February 26 at the Alexander Pushkin Literary and Memorial Museum (13 Pushkinskaya St.).       Beginning at 15.00.       Free admission
