I got a music college diploma by passing exams externally. And I first tried to get it as a pianist, but did not score the required number of points. I again passed as an organist - and received a diploma. The only music competition in which I took part was in Chester. I was 18 years old, I participated as a pianist and became a winner, ”says Alan Sutton              In 1983, Alan Sutton graduated from the Department of History at Cambridge University. After graduation, he began working as a manager at enterprises in England, and since 1989 in Hungary. In 1984, he received a diploma from the Royal Royal College of Music, majoring in organ music. Alan Sutton wrote several choral works that were performed at a service in Budapest. From 1989 to 1997 he worked as an organist at the Scottish Missionary Church in Budapest. He later became chief accountant at a Hungarian private company for the production of sunflower oil. The same investment group that worked with the Hungarian concern was also an investor of the Dnieper oil-extracting plant, known for its trademark Oleina. “Since no one agreed to go to Ukraine, I was offered this position, and I went to Dnipro as the financial director of Oleiny. I worked for 10 years. After that I worked in Kiev for 2 years: CFO at the representative office of British Petroleum (the largest oil and gas producer in the world) and for two years I headed the planning and budget department of Ukrnafta. And then the situation in Ukraine changed: foreign investment stopped. I went to Colombia for six months. I was in South America when these dramatic changes took place in Ukraine in 2014. I was very worried. And I decided to return. "              Alan Sutton currently lives and works in the Dnieper. Despite his busy schedule, he continues to give several concerts a year in Ukraine, Hungary, Estonia, and Japan. In the late 90s, he bought a house in the Ukrainian village of Sukhachevka, and although he did not change his British citizenship, in his heart the musician considers himself already half Ukrainian.              -------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------       Organizers of the X International Festival of Organ Music named after Theophile Richter - 2020:       -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------▪️President International Organ Festival T.
