August 10, 19:00 Login: donation The curator of the Museum of Modern Art of Odessa Andrey Siguntsov will give a lecture on the topic of cosmism and its influence on the work of 20th century artists, in particular Fyodor Tetyanich, whose exhibition is taking place at the Moscow Art Institute. In the XX century, the philosophy of cosmism inspired literature, painting, music, inspiring with the dream of a wonderful future for humanity. According to the idea of ​​cosmists, people of the future will be able to live in the space of the Universe, overcome time and death, and each person will become an artist of his own universe. The dream of a flying man inspired the technical creativity of the founders of astronautics. The twentieth century sought to expand the limits of the possible, to reach the symbiosis of the arts of the future, which was to become art as the real creation of life. The cosmists saw the ideal of order in transforming society and time into works of art that would find their immortality in the state-museum.
