From July 23 to August 23, the Museum of Modern Art in Odessa will host the exhibition "Bezmezhzha I" by the Kiev artist, a prominent representative of the artistic underground Fyodor Tetyanich, aka Fripulia (1942-2007). Fyodor Tetyanich is a representative of unofficial art, painter, monumentalist, graphic artist, sculptor, writer, inventor and one of the first and brightest performers in the USSR. He staged incredible performances, wrote texts, published books, created monumental works and biotechnospheres that were supposed to save humanity in the event of a universal catastrophe. The artist was literally ahead of his time with his ecological ideas in art. The word "Fripulia" itself includes the artist's name "Fedor", the words "pulsar" and "crystal". Fripuglia is infinity. This is the eternal pulsation of the Universe. Tetyanich said: “I consider my whole life to be one single performance, in which I, on the planet Earth and in general in infinity, build with my works and their distribution by the media a single gigantic installation“ BIOTECHNOSPHERE FRIPULIA ”. The philosophical and aesthetic doctrine "Fripuglia" became the basis of a peculiar kind of art, the essence of which is the continuation of human and planetary life to infinity.Globalism and a craving for the avant-garde were surprisingly combined with national traditions, religion and emphasized ecological self-awareness. Fyodor Tetyanich is a representative of the real underground, the hero of aesthetic resistance to Soviet official culture. The artist often used the categories "eternity" and "infinity" in his works. "Bezmezhzha I" - the author's statement of the artist became the name of the project of the same name. The exhibition will showcase the versatile legacy of Fyodor Tetyanich, whose artistic practice is surprisingly comprehensive. For the first time, works from the artist's erotic series will be shown, and the leitmotif of the project will be space ideas that can be characterized by the words of the author who spoke out against "dullness in life and art, against pessimism, indifference and rudeness." Curator Andrey Siguntsov Within the framework of the project, lectures, master classes and video screenings are planned, which can be found on the pages of the social networks of the MSIO. The exhibition will run from 23 July to 23 August. The entrance to the opening is free, on the following days the cost of the entrance ticket is 40 UAH
