Terms of use The bike race-bike rally-bike ride "Odessa Sotka" 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) is held in the format of road races with the aim of: popularization of an ecological type of transport - a bicycle; popularization of a healthy lifestyle; providing athletes, travelers and cycling enthusiasts with opportunities to improve their sportsmanship; environmental education through attraction to types of outdoor activities that do not harm the environment. ORGANIZERS Competitions are held with the support of the Odessa City State Administration and the Odessa Regional State Administration. Chief coordinator of the project: Rzhepishevsky Leonid Pavlovich SECURITY OF PARTICIPANTS AND PREPARATION OF THE COMPETITION VENUE Participants are prohibited from participating in races without a helmet and without a number. The bike must have good brakes. It is forbidden to bring up those who temporarily left the race by escort cars. In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 18, 1998 No. 2025 "On the procedure for preparing sports facilities and other specially designated places for holding mass sports and cultural and entertainment events": preparation of sports facilities is the responsibility of their owners;control over the preparation of sports facilities and provision of safety places during the competition is carried out by a working commission under the leadership of the chief judge of the competition. Distance: - 100km - vertical drop: 0-50m - 80% plain - asphalt Organization The modern level of organization of cycling competitions: professional refereeing, electronic start-finish system, escort by police cars, special cars and ambulances, souvenirs and prizes, a concert and a cultural and entertainment program after the finish! Participation: Amateur competitions for all comers: men and women from 18 years old on bicycles of any type. The number of participants is limited to 3000 people. EVENT PROGRAM (approximate) 8:30 - 9:45 - preparation for the start; 9:50 am - 10:20 am - opening ceremony; 10:30 - 20:30 - duration of the bike ride; 13:00 - 16:30 - cultural and entertainment program; hot porridge, tea 20.30 - closing of the finish line CATEGORIES OF PARTICIPANTS The bicycle race-bicycle rally-bicycle race will be held in the following categories (categories) separately for the participants: on road and cross-country bikes, on mountain bike and hybrid bicycles,on other bikes (tandems, city bikes, custom bikes, etc.), Competitions provide for separate categories for the diameter of the bicycle wheels. 6.1. Separate categories and tests: "Absolute standings" for the best time to cover the 100 km distance among men; "Absolute standings" in the best time to cover the 100 km distance among women. 6.2. Features of the distribution by categories Participation by persons who do not fall into any of the categories are considered by the organizers on an individual basis. A category in which less than five participants will be registered will be combined with a junior category. The credit in each category is personal. The start is carried out when crossing a special mat by each participant individually using special electronic equipment. REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION TO PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION Registration for the bike race-bike rally-bike ride "Odessa Sotka" is open on September 22, 2020 at https://100km.odessa.ua Online registration ends on April 1, 2020 at 23:59, 7 days before the start of the competition and the issuance of start numbers. Registration ends on April 11, 2020 until 9:59 am, If registration continues at a separate rate for everyone on the general terms of participation, participants are not guaranteed to provide a full registration package with souvenirs. 7.1. Registration confirmation Confirmation of registration is received by the participant by e-mail automatically, after registration for the bicycle race-bicycle rally-bicycle race “Odessa Sotka 2019 and payment. Participation fee PAYMENT TERMS Participation in the bike race-bike rally-bike ride "Odessa Sotka" is paid. Registration cost increases as the start day approaches. 8.1. Stages of payment of the registration fee: Voluntary charity registration fee. April 1, 2020 April 10, 2020 - 600 UAH April 11, 2020 - 700 UAH 8.2. Registration fee payment methods: Payment is made upon registration from a Visa and MasterCard card account using Privat24 and LiqPay. In exceptional cases, participants can pay in cash at the office of the Commonwealth of Companies no later than 1 day before the start.Registration fee, which is a voluntary and personal contribution of each participant, aimed at organizing, supporting and developing cycling. In the event that a participant is unable to take part in the competition, complete the distance or does not meet the established time limit, the fee is not refundable. MEDICAL REFERENCE The organizers of the bike race-bike rally-bike ride canceled the requirement to present a medical certificate. Participants are allowed to participate in the competition, providing a receipt of full responsibility for their health and physical fitness. According to the legal obligations of these provisions - the organizers of the competition do not bear any responsibility for the health and physical fitness of the participants, as well as other unforeseen circumstances and consequences (please see clause 15.6. Legal obligations of the participants). At the same time, the organizers of the bicycle race-bicycle rally-bicycle race advise all participants to visit a therapist the day before and in case of unsatisfactory health - not to participate in the bicycle race. During cycling races it is also possible to withdraw from the race and reach the finish line with a bike in a special van provided by the organizers. At the request of the organizers of bicycle races, the chief physician of the competition and / or the ambulance team can check the health of any participant before the start, during the race, and after the finish and, if necessary, prevent / remove the participant from the race. HEALTH INSURANCE POLICYMedical insurance policy for all competitors is compulsory. DOPING The bicycle race-bicycle rally-bicycle race "Odessa Sotka" is an amateur competition. The organizers of the competition count on the athletic behavior and sincerity of all participants. Special doping tests are not provided by the organizers of the competition. REPLACEMENT OF PARTICIPANT Replacement of one participant for another is possible by filling out a separate registration form by both participants before February 28, 2019. The cost of replacing a participant is paid: 150 UAH. PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION PACKAGE The registration fee includes the following services and equipment for the participant: - a technical envelope with special numbers, an electronic chip of the participant, a copy of the registration, a card with the route in the competition; - partial blocking of traffic on the most dangerous sections of the route, escorting the "head" and the closing group by police patrols - the work of the dispatcher to evacuate technically faulty bicycles to the finish line. - medical and maintenance services during the route - water at technical stops and the finish line; - a commemorative medal for the participant who finished in the "Odessa Sotka". - participant certificate with the result of overcoming 100 kilometers. 13.1. Procedure and rules for using registration numbersEach participant receives special numbers that must be open. Participants are prohibited from closing rooms in whole or in part, transferring to third parties, violating the rules of these provisions and generally accepted rules of sports behavior. ORGANIZATION OF THE TRACK Traffic within the city will be temporarily partially blocked by the police 10 minutes before the start of the first escort vehicle at the head of the convoy. Traffic will also be restricted by police crews at key junctions throughout the course. At key turns, marshals are provided in special identification vests, direction indicators (on the road surface, trees, poles and fences) The convoy of participants is accompanied by special vehicles: two traffic police cars, two ambulances, a technical car with a bicycle workshop from the organizers, two patrol cars from the organizers, the number of which can be increased. During the distance, there are two special technical points - checkpoints, where water, technical and consulting support is provided for all participants. DIRECTIVES For participants Participants of a bicycle race-bicycle rally-bicycle race pass the track and participate in competitions, guided by the following directives. 15.1. The order of going to the starting lineThe start is carried out with a shot of the starting pistol according to the rules of group cycling races (the timing begins for all participants individually when crossing a special starting mat at low speed). The winner in the category is the one who first crossed the finish mat (at low speed). 15.2. route Participants cover a distance of 100 km. A detailed route will be outlined shortly. 15.3. Participant service points on the track (pit stops) During the distance, there are two special technical points, control points, where water is provided for all participants, technical and consulting support. 15.4. Finish order and determination of winners The participants are declared the winner, at the time of 10:00 have passed the distance in accordance with the rules. Overcoming a distance of 100 km from the moment of crossing the start and finish is recorded by a special system of electronic equipment. All participants who finished, having covered the distance of 100 km, are awarded with commemorative medals of participants, certificates of participation. Participants who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each of the categories are awarded with diplomas of the corresponding degree 15.5. Participants' obligations during the course In cases not provided for by these provisions, the rules and regulations provided by the Cycling Federation of Ukraine, the Federation of Sports Tourism of Ukraine and the current Legislation of Ukraine apply.Participants must be respectful of the environment without contaminating it. It is forbidden to throw garbage on the roadside. For this, special waste bins are provided at technical points. Participants in violation of these and other rules of the provisions may be disqualified. It is allowed to accompany the participants with private cars, motorcycles, scooters, for which it is necessary to obtain special accreditation from the organizers and instructions on the rules for accompanying participants on the track. Participants who have fallen behind the main car escort continue to cover the distance like ordinary bicycle tourists, guided by the general rules of the road. Participants who, for certain reasons, are not able to personally cover the distance, can contact the dispatcher (organizers) by the phone number indicated on the registration number and in all documents and will be delivered by the organizers to the finish point along with their bicycles. 15.6. Competitors' Legal Obligations to Participate in Competitions By signing the registration form and paying the registration fee, each competitor agrees to adhere to the provisions and to be careful and moderate throughout the competition. In addition, by signing the registration form and paying the registration fee, each participant agrees and confirms: that he / she bears full responsibility for his / her health and fitness and releases the organizers of the competition from any liability in this regard.that he / she authorizes the organizer to process his / her personal data that are relevant to the competition, respecting confidentiality, or, in other cases, by obtaining the permission of the participant; that he, she gives consent to the organizers for unlimited free use of static and moving audiovisual recordings with the image of a participant in the Odessa Sotka bicycle race, without territorial restrictions, by any parties, for commercial and advertising purposes and / or for the purpose of creating an archive of the competition; the participant waives any claims that may arise in relation to the rights to use such audiovisual information; that he / she understands that participation in the "Odessa Sotka" is a potentially dangerous activity and, accordingly, he / she is responsible for all, without exception, risks associated with participation in cycling, including: collisions, falls, contacts with other cyclists and transport means, spectators, weather conditions, track quality, infrastructure features and circumstances on the track during the bike ride; participants are aware that this can pose a health hazard. In case of injury as a result of an accident, his / her own mistake while driving the bike or such an error by other race participants, technical malfunction of the bike or for health reasons, he / she is responsible for the consequences of possible injury and damage to his / her bike or equipment, etc. however, he / she does not receive compensation (excluding insurance payments in the presence of insurance);that he / she understands that the organizers are not responsible for possible manifestations of vandalism, theft and all sorts of force majeure circumstances that each participant may suffer at different stages of the cycling race; that he / she exempts the organizers, co-organizers, volunteers and any parties involved by the organizers with any degree of responsibility, without exception, from liability related to actions, statements, circumstances, condition, conditions of these provisions that were caused by him / her, other participants and other parties; that he / she takes a possible decision of the organizing committee about his / her non-admission, disqualification, withdrawal, etc., provided for by these provisions and / or the current legislation of Ukraine; that he / she agrees to a possible examination by a doctor before, during and after the competition at any time and that he / she may be withdrawn from the race on the advice of a doctor. Force Majeure In case of force majeure: unfavorable weather conditions, unfavorable socio-political conditions in the country and other emergencies and unforeseen situations, the competition can be postponed for 1-2 weeks, for an indefinite period, or canceled in 2019. Cancellation of the competition in 2019 is unlikely. Competitions will be held in any weather.However, if it is impossible to hold the competition in 2019 due to force majeure, the organizers do not refund the cost of the registration fee. Participants will be given the opportunity to participate with a 50% discount for the next year and the opportunity to attend other events of the organizers free of charge. COMPLAINTS Any complaints about the results, conditions of participation and the holding of the cycling marathon are submitted by the participants to the chief secretary of "Odessa Sotka" only in writing within two hours after the finish of the last participant. and will be considered by the panel of judges in 2 weeks, but not more than the time provided for by the legislation of Ukraine. At the end of the two hours, any complaints regarding the above will not be accepted or considered. FINAL NOTE All controversial cases are not provided for by these provisions, are subject to the norms and statutes of the Cycling Federation of Ukraine, the Federation of Sports Tourism of Ukraine and the current Legislation of Ukraine.The organizers reserve the right to change the regulations and rules during preparation and on the day of the competition in order to improve the organization of the event.
