On September 28 at 18:00, as part of a small lecture hall, we invite you to figure out what the "Korean wave" or "hallu" (한류) is. Elizaveta Demchenko - culturologist, researcher of Korean culture, postgraduate student of the Department of Culturology, Art History and Philosophy of Culture of the ONPU will talk about the constituent aspects of Korean "soft power": - about the phenomenon of "dramas", their differences from TV series and distribution outside South Korea; - about the history of K-pop from the first music group to fail to idols with a multi-million audience (PSY, BTS, Blackpink); - about the features of Korean beauty standards; - about language, cuisine and video games.
