Odessa spillway has a long and glorious history. Which began in the Middle Ages, when, long before the founding of Odessa, this area was the bottom of the Black Sea. Later, the paths of the Cossacks passed here, who repeatedly stormed Turkish fortresses on the territory of present-day Odessa. There were numerous settlements on the outskirts of the city, and there are still stone dwellings made in caves. 2. We will climb Zhevakhova mountain - the highest point of Odessa. This amazing and mysterious place is steeped in history and ancient secrets. Zhevakhova Gora is our Odessa Place of Power. In addition, it offers a magnificent view of the three largest reservoirs in Odessa: the Black Sea, Kuyalnitsky and Khadzhibeevsky estuaries. 3. We will visit the Kuyalnik estuary - an extraordinary place, almost the Dead Sea! We will find out who lives in the salt waters of the estuary and how salt was mined in it. We will experience the healing properties of the estuary and drink mineral water in the pump room; 4. We will see the old Pirogov sanatorium. The old building of the sanatorium was once considered one of the most beautiful in the Russian Empire, and still has not lost its former beauty.
