The language of symbol and allegory, open for its time, is often a mystery for a modern person or simply remains outside the brackets. Let's try to remove these "brackets" and take a closer look at the details of old paintings. The old masters knew a lot about this! On a thematic tour, we:  Let's try to plunge into the past and “read” some of the masterpieces of the museum collection;  let's talk about how the symbol changed from the Middle Ages to the Baroque;  we will discuss how the same subject could have two opposite meanings and why;  find out what is the difference between a symbol and an allegory, what is hidden behind funny scenes of taverns and partying and what Dutch still lifes are eaten with.
