Author's tour of the "TIRS" project from Alexander Roytburd. ⠀ "TIRS" - the first museum of contemporary art in Ukraine, which existed in the 90s. ⠀ Thirty years later, the TIRS collection is being exhibited again, and one of the participants in this initiative, Alexander Roitburd, will tell about its historical significance. Tour of the TIRS project through the eyes of an eyewitness and participant in the process. The artist and director of the Odessa Art Museum, Alexander Roitburd, will conduct an author's tour of the TIRS project, telling its story from the perspective of an eyewitness and participant in the process. Memories and subjective reasoning about the first stage of the museum's founding, its evolution, the shift in the focus of the collection from the classics of Odessa nonconformism to the art of young marginalized people, pitfalls and internal collisions. And also about the transformation of the center of contemporary art on Gogol street into a gallery space on Shevchenko Avenue, about the functioning of the gallery as a laboratory space of the "new art" association and the Soros center of contemporary art in Odessa, about gains and losses, about the termination of activities and the further fate of the collection.
