First aid in sports

How often do we hear that this or that athlete was forced to end his career due to injury? Sometimes this is a consequence of the wrong or inopportune first aid provided. Sport, as a profession or hobby, has its own characteristics and risks to human health. We invite you to the training "First Aid in Sports", where you will get acquainted with the most common injuries of athletes, learn how to provide first pre-medical aid and thus save a person's life and health. At the training, we will consider modern algorithms and international standards for the provision of first pre-medical care. We will work together with you all the skills in practice, using specialized dummy equipment. You will become a participant in simulation situations where it will be necessary not only to show the correct practice of skills, but also to be able to work harmoniously in a team. Training program: 1. Basic life support in cardiac arrest; 2. Heart pathologies in athletes; 3. Hypoglycemia; 4. Asthmatic status; 5. Epileptic seizure; 6. Infact and stroke; 7. Types of sports injuries; 8. Sports bandages; 9. Dislocations, fractures; 10. Fundamentals of sports taping. In addition, during coffee breaks, you will have the opportunity to communicate with the instructors in an informal setting and ask them any questions that interest you.
