Let's talk about the legacy of Yuri Meletyevich Dmitrenko. He was called the creator of beautiful Odessa and takes breath away from everyone who has seen the Accounting Bank on Pushkinskaya, the Peasant Bank on Marazlievskaya (the Palace of Students), the apartment houses of Anatra and Mavrokordato. Yuri Meletyevich was a diocesan architect - learn more about the churches and temples of his authorship. Sometimes he did projects for public and charitable institutions for free. On his account there are shelters, a bed house, a cheap canteen, a public reading room and much more. Ekaterininskaya Square is still adorned by the monument to the Founders by Dmitrenko, the hotel "Londonskaya" is gazed every day, almost all of the identified structures are recognized as architectural monuments. More than a hundred years have passed, and today we admire the master's work.
