Opera is performed with two intervals Libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa based on the book by Murger "Scenes from the Life of Bohemia" Duration 2 hours 20 minutes. La Bohème is a lyric opera based on the characters' personal drama. At the same time, the work widely presents colorful pictures of the eccentric life of artists, actors and poets. The music in the process of performance changes from temperamental, lively, energetic - to tender and fragile, dramatic, and in the finale it becomes mournful and tragic.
