"HELLO MY MURKA" museum night

On June 18, the Nineteenth Museum Night will take place at the Odessa Literary Museum - "HELLO, MY MOURKA" The history of mankind is long, confusing and ... inseparable from cats. A cat, everyone knows her! Human companion, the domestic cat, has long taken its place in culture, going a long way from a deity to an ordinary representative of the urban fauna. And the attitude towards her changed from worship to simple human affection. A cat is one of those animals that does not leave anyone indifferent: some adore it, others openly hate it, someone ascribes witchcraft to the cat, and someone, on the contrary, considers it a good doctor and companion of the soul. A huge number of people consider themselves to be "catophiles" - cat lovers, and someone refers to themselves as "catophobes" - they are afraid and avoid these animals. And art workers were by no means an exception here. The image of a cat has gone through dozens of literary works and hundreds of paintings, there are many musical receptions left. Why is there such a different attitude towards one and the same animal? What is the reason for this? To sort out these issues together invites the Odessa Literary Museum on Friday, June 18 at 20:00 at the Museum Night "HELLO MY MURKA".
