Let's go in the footsteps of the Pototskys together with Vladimir Ostrovsky! Walking around the famous Sofievka park in Uman evokes thoughts of the romantic love of Count Stanislav Pototsky and his wife, after whom the park is named. Sofia was one of the most brilliant women of that time: she was enthusiastically received at the courts of Paris and St. Petersburg, with her charm she overshadowed the noblest beauties of Europe. Stanislav Pototsky had no choice but to turn the wild lands on the outskirts of Uman into a paradise for the sake of his beloved. You could have visited the Sofievsky Park in Uman many times. But the accompaniment of Vladimir Ostrovsky will open the park from a new side! After resting from the impressions of the first day in a first-class hotel, in the morning we will go to Tulchin to see one of the best buildings in the classicism style in Ukraine - the Potocki Palace. Noisy balls, meetings and gatherings were held here, and all the nobles knew about the luxury of the palace, who did not even hide their admiration and envy. Stanislav Pototsky was a lover of painting, so the art gallery of the palace contained canvases by Van Dyck, Rembrandt and Rubens. The exterior of the palace was impressive - exquisite carvings, marble, majestic columns. The program is quite intense, but don't worry - we have provided free time so that you can enjoy the park and the sights at your own pace, and food so that nothing distracts from Vladimir Ivanovich's stories and the magic of the surrounding places! We leave on July 24 at 09:00, return to Odessa on July 25 at 21:00.
