On October 2 and 3, from 10.00 to 17.00, we invite you to visit the exhibition of watercolors by Svetlana Mikhalevich "When the asters bloom" in the exhibition hall of the Odessa Botanical Garden, at the address: French Boulevard 48/50 Entrance ticket to the garden: 50 hryvnia for adults, 30 hryvnia for children. The exhibition features watercolors by Svetlana Mikhalevich, floral and plant motifs were painted in the botanical garden, and sea and city landscapes show the garden as an integral part of Odessa. The series of watercolors "Asters and Butterflies" was created as a reflection on time. At the very beginning of autumn, when asters bloom, like stars flashing in the garden, changes begin in nature. The evenings are longer, the colors are richer and the air is colder. Butterflies symbolize the metamorphosis and beauty of moments of life and nature. Fluttering over the asters, they continue their way beyond the pictures. Svetlana Mikhalevich's watercolors are distinguished by their subtle sense of color, imagery and love of life. The artist loves plein air painting and a combination of abstract and realistic vision. Watercolor in interaction with the elements of water and the texture of paper allows you to create an amazing atmosphere. The image, permeated with light from the reflected paper, seems to hover above materiality and transfers our attention to feelings and emotions. These days in the botanical garden there will be an open-air action "Butterflies in the garden", the purpose of which is to draw attention to the beauty of the garden and help the Botanical Garden to raise funds for the repair and re-equipment of the exhibition hall.
