Poetry hour with Oksana Maslova

On Saturday, October 2 at 4 pm, we invite you to the Hour of Poetry with Oksana Maslova to listen to poetry about what it is impossible to talk about in prose! Plein-air "Butterflies in the Garden". French Boulevard 48/50, Botanical Garden of ONU named after Mechnikov. Entrance to the garden with tickets of the Botanical Garden (50 and 30 hryvnias), poetry evening - donation. The plein air aims to draw attention to the beauty of the Botanical Garden and help raise funds for the restoration of the exhibition hall! Oksana Maslova - poet, playwright, curator and cultural manager, author in Ukraine in Deutschland, previously wrote for Focus, ELLE.ua, TAZ.de The first play by Oksana Maslova was highly appreciated and staged in the format of readings at the drama festival “The Tizden of the Actual Play” - 2017. In 2018, Oksana was among the finalists of the radio drama competition from Mystetsky Arsenal and the British Council. And in 2019, her play represented Ukraine at the international literary festival in Potsdam as part of the Next Generation Europe international competition. Now, Oksana's plays are being staged in three cities of Ukraine: "Ball of the Black Sea" (Odessa), "Voices in the Head" (Chernigov and Odessa) and "Nova Suknya for Princess" (Uzhgorod). This year her plays were included in the longlists of the Ukrainian drama competition Lipneviy Med "The Secret of the Kingdom of Inventors" and the international Polish festival "Aurora" "Skovoroda". The play "Skovoroda" has been recommended for staging in theaters in Poland and other countries.
