Meeting V. Works by Paul Cézanne

Friends, on Thursday, October 21 at 18.30 (Kanatnaya, 79), I invite everyone to the traditional meeting of the art lecture hall, this time dedicated to the work of Paul Cézanne (1839-1906). Self-taught, loner, rebel, titan of post-impressionism, genius in the second generation. Did Cézanne have talent, or just perseverance, as his critics believed? What qualities does an artist need in general? What did Cezanne want to achieve in painting and what did he get out of it? How did he understand painting in general? Why did Cezanne reject the path of Gauguin and Van Gogh, and what do they have in common? What do artists who have been called post-impressionists have in common?
