Audio-Visual Concert "64"

20 January 2018, 19:00
category: concert
150 UAH
place: Creative space "Heat" (Bolshaya Arnautskaya str., 59)

"64" is a concert on the verge of a performance. Audio-visual performance from the Ukrainian musician Georgy Matviev and the modern Odessa poetess Alisa Radova.        A duet that is not afraid to experiment with a folk instrument and a poetic genre, destroying myths about their archaism. Subtle lyrics to the incredible sound of the bandura in the styles of impressionism, jazz, blues and neoclassic.        Georgy Matviiv is a unique bandura player, composer, inventor of the latest techniques for playing the bandura, which made the instrument sound in a new way. This can be seen while listening to his four albums of copyright music. It turns out that the bandura is not only folk motives.       Thanks to Georgy Matviiv, you will learn what a bandura solo is really capable of, which sometimes will sound like a small orchestra.        George is the first and only Ukrainian musician who participated in the European Jazz Orchestra.       Alisa Radova is a modern Odessa poetess, philologist, teacher. Her work is an example of subtle and penetrating poetry, in which every poem is saturated with a whole bunch of feelings, filled with vibrant energy, spiritual wisdom and sunny optimism. And its immediacy and understandable syllable can reach everyone, even the most inveterate skeptic. Alice’s concerts are not just dry readings of poems, in her performances she always tries to create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort, so that those who came to listen to her poems seemed to come to visit a friend, not at an official event. In 2010, Alice released the collection of audiopoiesies "Drafts", in 2017 - the book "Heat at All Poles". She is also the author and director of video clips for her own works and is actively promoting video poetry to the masses as a genre of cinema art.       And if you think that all poetry ended back in the 20th century, where the poetic part of the school curriculum is interrupted, we say with joy that this is not so and we invite you to the concert “January 64” on January 20.       The concert also takes part Maria Smolinskaya (bandura)       P.S. who will be the first to guess why the concert called "64" will receive a ticket as a gift!
