Training “Access to identity documents for LWF"

We invite professionals system #DDD and lawyers from Vinnitsa, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kherson regions, which cooperate with the system #BPD, on a one-day training on working with persons without citizenship, which will be held on 29 July 2019. The deadline for participation in the training is 19 July 2019. The results of examination will be notified to You at the email address specified in the application. The application can be submitted to: https://forms.gle/tw92Fq42btq3b72z6 All costs associated with participation in the training (travel, accommodation, meals) will be provided by the project “Accessible and quality legal assistance in Ukraine”. The purpose of the training: the development of practical and communicative skills for working with stateless persons – vulnerable groups of clients of the system of free legal aid, in particular citizens of the former USSR, children, ethnic minorities and stateless persons. The focus of the training will be given as "soft skills" (soft skills), namely, analysis and development of skills build the first contact and further effective communication with clients, interviewing and counseling clients, and "hard" skills (hard skills) such as knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures. In particular, the participants will work on tools of effective communication, barriers/filters of perception, which can cause stigma and discrimination, as well as the ethical and value aspects and other features of the work with vulnerable client groups. Work on soft skills (soft skills) is very important because in professional life is often a focus only on "hard skills", while "soft skills" have a significant impact on the results of working with clients and providing them with legal assistance. According to the results of the training, participants will receive: - skills category of clients – persons without citizenship (OBG); - algorithm of actions for representation of OBG in the courts, government bodies and local authorities; - building skills and communication with vulnerable clients in cases of stateless persons; tools to achieve positive results in the cases of OBG (Plane problems – Plane relationship). Coach VLADIMIR KONDOR (Kondur Vladymyr), lawyer, certified trainer on skills development (soft skills) with vulnerable groups of clients of the DDD, the graduate program “the Lawyer of the future”, the President of Public organization "human rights Roma center" The organizer of the training Coordination center for providing legal assistance supported by the project “Accessible and quality legal assistance in Ukraine”, implemented by the Canadian Bureau of international education in partnership with the Coordination center for providing legal aid and funded by the Government of Canada.
