As part of the educational project Sonarfabric, we are launching a series of courses "CAFE" from renowned industry professionals. In it we will participate in meetings, round tables and lectures on electronic music and everything related to it.       We invite you to the first intensive course, during which you will learn about the history of electronic music, from its first tracks to modern sound. The intensive will consist of 8 daily lectures and will highlight the emergence of various genres and scenes, their structure, transitions from one to another and many others.       Head the department’s chair and curator of the course is Roman Kurgan aka Monotronique, a Kharkov DJ and producer, noted last year with a solo release on the British label Opal Tapes, as well as in the compilation “Shared Meanings” from Mumdance, which was nominated for a collection of the year according to DJ Mag and gathered the top producers of advanced electronics.              The lecture schedule of the Department №1:       09.08 Introduction.
