The classic text of the story that happened at the end of the XIX century. Love triangle, love and hate, humility and rebellion. The director of the performance Dmitry Bogomazov skillfully uses space, boldly introduces plastic into the text of the play, shifting emphasis and “twisting” eternal questions into the modern psychological context. The viewer is gradually drawn into the whirlpool of fateful passions, the plot of the performance gradually grows into modernity and the story is as close as possible to our time.        A strange world arises in the play, in which there is as much household recognition as metaphorical horror. A world in which a person is fatally unfree, where there is one right - the right of the strong, where happiness is next to each, and each of the heroes defends their right to it, but a tragic denouement is inevitable. The “Vasilkivtsi” actors, young, impetuous, sexy, create real love and real passion on the stage. “Happiness is near” turns the soul, lights a fire in the blood, excites feelings, makes you think differently, look at yourself, at the world.      Stage Director: Dmitry Bogomazov (Kiev)      Set Designer - Alexander Druganov (Kiev)      Musical decision - Alexander Kuriy (Kiev)The following people are involved in the performance: Honored Artist of Ukraine Olga Petrovskaya (Anna Zadorozhnaya), Honored Artist of Ukraine Yakov Kucherevsky (Mykhaylo Gurman), Honored Artist of Ukraine Igor Gerashchenko (Mykola Zadorozhniy), People's Artist of Ukraine Olga Ravitskaya (Nastya Babich) as well as Alla Brodskaya, Ninel Natachaya , Eugene Yukhnovets, Bogdan Parshakov and others.       In 2003, the play (director and performers of three main roles) was nominated for the National Prize of Ukraine named after T.
