"Stream - as the goal of the practice of Yoga. Notes from India" by Alina Troitskaya

November 10 from 10:00 to 13:00 Workshop Alina Troitskaya        Yoga is a state of flow. For Hindus, it is easier to understand the principles of yoga, since these traditions are fixed at their genetic level. For a Westerner, this state is achieved through the practice of Swadhyaya and Tapas.       Our teachers Alina Troitskaya and Yulia Morozenko at the end of October visited a 10-day intensive on Iyengar yoga in Bellur (India). An infinite amount of invaluable knowledge was passed on to them by the elder teacher Birge Meht. (the closest student of Sri B.K.S. Iyengar for 50 years) and Abidjata Iyengar (the granddaughter of Guruji, his student, to whom he transmitted knowledge and bequeathed to bring the light of yoga to the world after Guruji left). Alina Troitskaya is ready to share some of this knowledge. We will talk about this and much more at our seminar. About how to breathe in asanas and get gradually to the very essence of asanas. At the end of the seminar, the physical pose really will turn into Asana, in its classical sense.
