ABOUT THE EXHIBITION The concept of the exhibition is metaphorical, and its name very accurately conveys the meaning implied by the author in each entry. Tales of the wings is a kind of confession on covert and overt flights in dream and reality, revealing the inner mystical experience, sometimes not quite conscious, turns into images, symbols, and color spots. The artist tells the story of wings as symbol of the spirit, overcoming, liberation from the shackles of corporeality and impermanence of existence and contact with the divine. After the flight there is an exit into the unknown, beyond the limits of human potential, the opportunity to look at ourselves and the world from a height, from a different perspective, the discovery of other worlds and attempt to look behind the line of reality. ABOUT THE ARTIST Artist Sergey Polyanichko was born in 1968 in Izmail. In 1998 he graduated from the Izmail state University, art-graphic faculty. Participated in group shows in Izmail and Odessa. Recent joint projects: In 2015, a joint project of Odessa artists "Otherwise" in the Museum of Modern Art In 2016, the project "the prose Tales of time" at the art lounge Odessa linguistic centre In 2017 an exhibition of the Odessa section of the National Union of artists of Ukraine in Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental art. Works are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Jordan, USA. The artist paints in the direction of neocytolysis and conceptual art, in addition, he is familiar with and the genre of the marine industry. Exhibition dates: 16.11 - 01.12. Exhibition opening on 16 November at 16.00. Admission is free on opening day. 17.11 01.12 at the entrance to the exhibition 40 / 25 / 30 UAH.
