Friends, on December 6th we will be waiting for “Work without authorship” - an Oscar nominee from Germany and a new work by director Florian Henkel von Donnersmark, who shot an exciting thriller about Stasi “Life of Others” and “Tourist” with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie . The film is based on real events, namely: the life of one of the most famous German artists Gerhard Richter, whose childhood fell on the Nazi years, which influenced not only his life, but also his work. According to the plot, the young artist Kurt Barnert, escapes from East Germany to West Germany. In his new conditions, he still suffers from the childhood memories of the Nazi years. Only love for student Ellie gives Kurt a new impetus for inspiration. He begins to create paintings in which his traumatic experience is reflected. Ellie's father, professor Karl Sebend, a well-known doctor, is surprised at his daughter's choice and intends to destroy the relationship of the young spouses.
