For the first time in Ukraine. Matt Elliott and his noir neofolk and Slokor. When Matt was 16, he dropped out of formal education to (sorry for the stamp) devote himself to music. He got a job in a music store and played as a DJ in various Bristol clubs, where he was supposedly not supposed to be allowed in because of his age. What began with the drum and bass hobby, 20 years later, resulted in a two-part life - between British Bristol and French Nancy. Divided between the iconic drum and bass project of the Matt Elliott / The Third Eye Foundation and the dark neo-folk, which Matt created and performed as a solo musician. Divided between internal vulnerability and external expressiveness. Matt lives two lives at the same time, and his music only benefits from this. As a solo musician, Matt created 11 albums, of which each new one is even more viscous and thick in sound than the previous one. We especially like his last decade with the albums The Calm Before, The Broken Man, and Only Myocardial Infarction Can Break Your Heart. We also love Matt's lyrics — she stings like a lazy bee — slowly leaving behind a dull, belated pain. Matt will come to Ukraine with selected high-quality old songs, as well as new songs from the forthcoming album “Farewell To All We Know” (the release is expected in 2020). For the first time his tour will get so far east. In Ukraine, Matt will play only three concerts: December 5 in Ivano-Frankivsk in the Puppet Theater (event Mett Elliott in Ivano-Frankivsk) December 7 in Odessa (location to be agreed) December 8 in Kiev at the Recording House (event Mett Elliott in Kyiv) Ghost Cities will accompany Matt's entire Ukrainian tour on the support - also a solo project, also multi-instrumental, also dark and viscous. Mykola Lebed will improvise with saxophone and electronic sound, as well as present some ready-made compositions.
