How can a contemporary artist get funding in the EU

Leontovich, 5       Free admission              Artist, curator, project manager and fundraiser Igor Zaydel and artist, teacher Julia Kazakova live and work in Berlin. Their lecture will be devoted to the economic component of the professional life of a contemporary artist.              Igor Seidel will talk about the structures for sponsoring culture in the EU, the necessary arguments for filling out a grant application, taking into account the policies of individual grantors; will place particular emphasis on finding partners and engagement rituals. The basics of project budgeting, as well as supporting programs interesting to cultural managers, taking into account the Ukrainian specifics, will be considered.              The story of Julia Kazakova is devoted to aspects of commercial art in Germany, in particular, interaction with galleries, collectors and customers, as well as personal experience working on a German construction site of the century “Stuttgart 21”.
