Sophistication

sophistication. is a one-woman band make music of the Kiev Sofia Schwager. Made of minimalistic guitar sounds and voice, it, however, is hardly simple. Thoughtful lyrics, sung with a sometimes quiet and sometimes very loud voice, creates a kind of meditation, a cure from the bustling city. In March, Sophia was presented in Odessa on their first album ‘looming’ and now returns to show his new work ‘pink flower’. It musician sounds even more confident, but at the same time does not lose the tenderness of execution. ‘pink flower’ is a kind of notes traveler, which collected the memories of places, people and, above all, conditions that are common to all those who need to ask questions.
