How often do you experience stress? How can you rate this as? This is something that is draining? Or spurs and allows you to mobilize for effective action? And most importantly – do you know how to deal with it? In everyday life we are trying to avoid stress. Did you know that stress can be both "good" and "bad"? When the short-term stress is good stress, or eustress ("eu" in Greek means "good"). But if it becomes constant and does not go through the overcoming or adapting, you may go into distress, which eventually leads to anxiety or depression. Within four weeks of the course you will be able to learn skills: 〰 Quickly recognize the physical and psychological symptoms of impending stress. 〰 Effectively regulate itself through the methods of awareness, relaxation and centering. 〰 To introduce new habits of regular practice "emotional fitness". 〰 To collect your kit working for you techniques of stress reduction. 〰 To consolidate the new normal — sustainable harmonious life in which you will be able to skilfully manage themselves in stressful situations. Themes of classes 4-week online course on stress:  What chronic stress is and how it works?  What impact stress has on the psyche and why "call" emotions?  What is awareness and what is its role in reducing stress?  How to train attention and awareness?  As competent self-regulation helps us to handle stress?  How to improve the overall ability to handle stress?  Physiology and neurophysiology of stress. The practices you will learn on the course: 〰 Watching the breath. This practice collects, soothes, strengthens acceptance and kindness to yourself. 〰 Centering. It is a method of self-regulation through the body, bringing yourself into the optimal state to action. 〰 Monitoring the flow of thoughts. Helps to relate easier to the disturbing and Intrusive thoughts, not to "get stuck" and not get lost in them. 〰 Efficient propulsion bodily practices that are proven to reduce stress. 〰 "Scanning" of the body. This practice relaxes, helps to establish contact between the body and consciousness, allows to get rid of repressed emotions. Thanks to the attention to the body work early to notice symptoms of stress and to escape from them. The key to managing stress is to learn how to activate a specific condition, namely the "relaxation response" – a physical state of deep rest, which will alleviate adverse effects of the reaction "fight or flight".  Start of the course: may 14. On Mondays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 20:30 (GMT+3)  Presenter: Elena Gordienko, certified instructor of mindfulness practice, logoterapia, teacher of bodily movement practices and joint exercises with the experience of 9 years.
