Acting for life. II stage

The second stage of the course “Acting for Life” is a systematic development of the actor’s skills, which will be useful both on stage and in any life circumstances.              The ability to think fast, concentration of attention, control of one’s body and attention, a sense of aesthetics, logic of thinking, emotional stretching, imagination, etc. are irreplaceable qualities that will help you build a new personality.              The second task of the course is getting to know yourself. At each lesson - through resistance, observing yourself and the feedback of teachers - you will learn to better understand yourself, your inner world, motives of your own behavior.              COURSE STRUCTURE              The course consists of 7 modules, each of which includes four four-hour classes. During the month you will receive assignments, training materials and recommended behaviors to consolidate and integrate knowledge. A module is an independent mini-course where you go deeper and practice one area.              Module Names:              1. Improvisational thinking (2-29.05.2020)       2. The visual component of the performance (17.10 - 11.14.2020)              PRACTICESince the course prepares actors for performances in amateur and small private theaters, great attention will be paid to practice and stage life. During the course, students will enter the stage at least twice in front of the audience. And those who want to perform in an existing theater association will be able to go through a casting and work on plays for regular productions.              However, if your task is to introduce skills and improve your life, rather than performing on stage, you are not required to participate in the performances and creative programs of the course.              Rehearsals              The ability of each student is to get into the current troupe and participate in rehearsals of performances. They will be held during non-academic hours, in agreement with the participants in the projects (performances).              TEACHERS              The course leader is Mikhail Fyodorov.
