The most intense intensive training for those who want to start exploring Docker! Since the beginning of 2000-ies there was a question about testing and deployment of software products in isolation from the rest of the installed software. This has led to the emergence of products such as VMWare Workstation, Virtual PC and Oracle VirtualBox, which provided the ability to run on a dedicated operating system. However, this approach required a large amount of necessary disk space and system resources. So in the last 3-4 years is gaining popularity platform Docker running on a virtualization layer of the operating system. Docker allows you to download or create applications and services in the form of images(images) and run them inside containers. This allows you not to worry about installing software for your project(web servers, databases) and to use the finished images. More than 60% of projects already use Docker to deploy applications. So now the knowledge of Docker is required for modern DevOps engineer. However, a conventional developer can use Docker to build and test their applications. Especially when it comes to e.g. microservices. Therefore we have created this training in this format, so it was independent of any particular programming language (platform). If you are a front-end or back-end developer, using Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, you equally can get acquainted with the basic commands and principles to use Docker in their projects. You can participate in our training in the office in Kiev and online. Online participants will receive all materials and can ask questions of the coach. Training program: 1) Familiarity with the principles of virtualization 2) Install and configure Docker 3) the Images and containers. Basic commands and options 4) the Dockerfile. Writing scripts to create our images 5) Parameterization of scripts 6) Limitation of resource containers 7) Volumes and data sharing 8) New syntax of the Docker CLI 9) Docker Hub. Creating your own repositories and placement of its images Requirements for participants: laptop(PC) that supports virtualization technology. The training will be held July 27 from 10:00 to 19:00 at the address: Kyiv, Saperno-Slobodskaya 22, 3rd floor Coach: Sergey Morenets, a developer with 20 years experience and 5 years of experience using Docker. Places are limited, so registration is required. https://it-simulator.com/#/event/128/vvedenie-v-docker
