Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art presents an exhibition of paintings on vintage homespun carpets "Identification Code". Its author is the artist IraVish Each person has a DNA code that distinguishes him from other people on the planet. Does such a code exist among the peoples of the world? The artist IraVish (Irina Vishnevskaya) is convinced that yes, it does exist. In her opinion, these are handmade carpets and rugs that have been woven and weaved from time immemorial in almost all corners of the world. In principle, they differ only in one pattern. It is by him that one can accurately determine which people this or that carpet belongs to. In a series of paintings "Dreams of my childhood", painted on old homespun carpets, the artist analyzes what happens to the identification code of a nation under the influence of globalization and geopolitical changes in the world. For this, she uses stories from the life of the Gagauz people, compactly living in the south of the Odessa region and Moldova. The artist spent her childhood among this people, and her culture and traditions had a great influence on her. The first works of the series are a story about the patriarchal lifestyle of the Gagauz people and their national customs ("Kolyada", diptych "When they dance in Ceadir-Lunga, flowers bloom in the sky"). Towards the middle of the series, plots appear in which foreign images and ideas about the everyday life of people are still present as a parallel world (triptych "Cosmonauts in the sky above Ceadir-Lunga"). But it won't last that long. The identification code, and with it the national traditions, are slowly but systematically supplanted, and what was foreign until recently is taking their place and is becoming everyday (“Women of Ceadir-Lunga Demonstrated”, “Builders of Communism”). In the final works of the series, only memories of the national code remain in the form of several applications of roses borrowed from old homespun carpets (Locust, Halloween) - national traditions are now becoming an attribute of carnivals, and foreign images and ideas are symbols of everyday life. Is it good or bad? The artist does not answer these questions. As a particular example, using stories from the life of the Gagauz people, IraVish (Irina Vishnevskaya) only records the processes taking place all over the world today.  The exhibition will open on September 18, at 16.00.  The exhibition will last until October 2 Given the epidemiological situation, the organizers ask guests to be sure to have medical masks with them.  Every day, starting from September 21, from 14.00 to 17.00, those who wish can visit the author's excursions.  The cost of the entrance ticket is 40 gr. #WEartMuseum is open daily (except Wednesday) ⏳ 11:00 - 17:00 (weekdays) ⏳ 11:00 - 18:00 (weekends) _______________________ Odessa Museum of Western and Divine Mistress presents a vistavka of painting on external homespun kilims "Identification Code". Її by artist IraVishIn skin people, there is a DNA code, which is the origin of all people on the planet. And why is there such a code among the peoples of the world? The artist IraVish (Iryna Vishnevska) was reconstructed, so - so, isnuє. On її dumka, tsі kilimi and paths of manual robots, which from time to time tweak a little and practically weave in all the little cocks. In principle, the stench comes from only one - a tiny ornament. By itself, you can bezpomilkovo value, which people should have that chi іnshy kilim. Among the series of paintings "Sleep My Childhood", vikonanoy on the old homespun kilims, the artist is analyzing, seeing the identification code of the nation for the flow of globalization and geopolitical changes in the world. For a whole lot of victorious stories about the life of the Gagauz people, who compactly live in the Odessa region and Moldova. The dignity of the artist has passed through some of the people, and their culture and traditions have already powerfully infiltrated them. The first robots of the serii - a message about the patriarchal way of life of the Gagauz and their national sounds ("Kolyada", diptych "If you dance in Chadir-Lunga, open up in the sky"). Until the middle of the series, there are plots, in which side images and ideas of the common life of people are gone, like a parallel light (triptych "Cosmonauts in the sky over Chadir-Lunga"). Ale will not be so trivial. The identification code, and at the same time with it, national traditions, generally, altogether change systematically, and those who have recently been on the sidelines are borrowed from the old people ("Women Chadir-Lungsyuilnyy went toThe imprisoned robots of a series of national codes will lose the help of the decile and aplication of the Trojans, which are suspected by the old people of homespun kilims ("Sarana", "Hellovin") - the national tradition of carnival, which is now a side image of the party.
