Dia de los muertos

On November 1, we celebrate in Poncho a holiday dedicated to the memory of the dead, which takes place annually in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador. Traditions associated with the holiday include the creation of private altars in honor of the deceased, including verbena, the deceased's favorite foods and drinks, and sweets in the form of skulls and clothed female skeletons reminiscent of Katrina.
