Stepan Ivanovich Khimochka was born on December 25, 1937 in the village of Starokazachye, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district, Odessa region. In 1965 he graduated from the Grekov Odessa Art School; in 1975 - Kiev Art Institute. Author of numerous personal exhibitions in the countries of near and far abroad. Member of the Sotheby's auction. The artist's works are in the Kiev Museum of Art named after Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko; in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Yugoslavia, Germany, Italy, USA, Korea, India, Indonesia. The works presented at this exhibition were donated by the artist to the Odessa House-Museum named after N.K. Roerich.
