A whole space fleet arrives at Mars, consisting of the orbital probe of the United Arab Emirates, as well as two rovers from China and the United States. All three spacecraft were launched to Mars in July 2020, just a few days apart. Such a tight schedule of launches is explained by the opposition of Mars, which occurs every two years and provides the minimum distance between Mars and Earth. The final stage will take place on Thursday, February 18, when the Tianwen 1 rover will be accompanied by the American Mars rover "Perseverance" ("Perseverance") of the NASA aerospace agency. He will land about 2600 km from the Chinese craft, in the Jezero crater.
