Celebrating Lammas

The wheel is turning! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ On August 1, one of the holidays of the wheel of the year is celebrated - Lammas or Lugnasad. ⁣⁣ 珞 Lammas or Lugnasad is traditionally celebrated in the first days of August. This is the holiday of the first bread and a new harvest and is associated with the ripening of fruits and reminds of the approaching autumn. ⁣⁣ In Lammas, the Wheel of the Year turns from light, summer, warmth to darkness, winter and cold. It reminds of the wheel of life - first we feed on the fruits of the earth, and later we go into it.
