Chungking Express - Special Screening at Multiplex

A new screening within the framework of the Cult Cinema project - a joint project of the Arthouse Traffic film distributor and the Multiplex network - a series of special screenings on 4K screens of restorations of classic films of world cinema. On August 3, we invite Odessa spectators to the Multiplex in the Gagarinn Plaza shopping center for the ONLY screening of the restored version of Wong Karwai's cult film "Chungking Express" - his early 1994 film, which became the standard of the director's style. ... Two parallel stories unfold around a diner of that name in Hong Kong's shopping district. The hero of the first novel, a policeman suffering from a break with his beloved, suddenly falls in love with a mysterious blonde with a dark past. The hero of the second novella - also a policeman - recently experienced a breakup, and now he suspects that someone visits his apartment when he is not at home. Chungking Express is featured in many prestigious ratings, including Time Magazine's Top 100 Movies and The Guardian's 1000 Must-See Movies. The feed rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website is 89% (93% among viewers). We are waiting for the audience at the Chungking Express special show on August 3 at 19.45 at the Multiplex cinema in the Gagarinn Plaza shopping mall. As usual, this special screening within the framework of the Cult of Cinema project will be preceded by a short story about the film for the audience.
