Mikhail Ksida

A concert that will become an event in Odessa. Philharmonic soloist Mikhail Ksida (clarinet) with chamber the orchestra under the direction of the chief conductor, Honored Artist of Ukraine Igor Shavruk will present a program of light classical music. For the first time in Odessa will sound "Romanza" by Johann Strauss. Many years after its premiere in 1879, the work was performed by the distinguished clarinetist Sabine Meyer. This happened in 1991 and became a landmark event in the cultural life of Munich. Now you can hear this piece, which has become a prelude to the composer's rich and varied instrumental work. The highlight of the concert will be a piece by the Hungarian clarinetist Bela Kovacs dedicated to Giora Feidman, the legendary Israeli clarinetist. It organically echoes the Odessa flavor and melos and will be a pleasant surprise for music lovers. We are waiting for everyone in the beautiful hall of the Odessa Philharmonic!
